  2. Can I cut and prepare directly on Quartz worktops?

    Quartz is very tough, however, the use of a cutting board is recommended when using a knife.
  3. Can I place hot pans on the Quartz

    Hot pots, pans and dishes should not be placed directly onto any work surfaces, always use a hot pan platter
  4. Does this sub-base help with fitting the Quartz or marble?

    it provides a stronger support
  5. Are the joints in Zodiaq Quartz apparent?

    There will be a groove where the worktops are joined. Silicone sealant is used in the joint to prevent liquid penetration. However, the groove will still be visible and will not be filled with resin. This is because the resin often becomes brittle and crumbles away over time.
  6. How do I clean Quartz worktops

    Regularly clean your surfaces with a damp cloth. Dry-off worktops to avoid dull patches appearing where hard water and soap residues may have been left behind during daily use. A light neutral (PH7) detergent may be safely added.

    Avoid the use of abrasive cleaners or scour pads. A spray cleaner, which can be applied to surfaces to clean and maintain the surface shine
  7. What can stain Quartz

    Permanent markers and inks may adhere to the surface and should be avoided. Should these agents come into contact with the surface, clean first as outlined in the Care and Maintenance Booklet provided.
  8. What can harm Quartz

    Keep nail polish remover, bleach, bluing, permanent markers or inks, and oil soaps away from the product.
  9. Can you give me a quotation over the telephone?

    When quoting for the supply and fitting of a complete worktop we would strongly prefer a sized sketch, scanned, faxed or posted so that we all agree on exactly what was quoted on. Without that information it's extemely difficult to provide an accurate quote.
